Indoor Golf for Shady Shores — Five Minutes Down the Road

Part of the Lake Cities. Quieter than the rest.

Shady Shores is the smallest of the Lake Cities — basically a few hundred lake-side homes, two parks, and not much else. There’s no real commercial district. If you want a restaurant, a bar, a hardware store, or anywhere to spend a Friday night, you’re already in your car driving somewhere. The question is just where.

Texas Golf Social is the closest anywhere. Five or six minutes south, depending on whether you cut through Corinth on Shady Shores Rd or jump on I-35E for one exit. Closer than driving up to Denton. Closer than crossing the bridge to Highland Village. Closer than basically anywhere with a full bar.

Why Shady Shores residents come to us

• It’s the nearest place to be. From most of Shady Shores you can be sitting in a simulator bay with a beer in hand before your phone GPS would have finished routing you to anywhere in Denton.
• Lake-day plan B that doesn’t ruin the day. Storms blow through, the wind picks up, the boat won’t start — instead of writing off the day, swap the lake for a simulator bay. Same six friends, indoor air, real food.
• Year-round access from your lake house. A lot of Shady Shores homes are second homes or seasonal. We’re a reason to come up in February when the lake is too cold to use.
• No real downside to a weeknight trip. When the round-trip drive is 10 minutes total, “let’s go play 9 holes after dinner” stops being a project.

Two ways to get here

Off-highway route (recommended for evenings): Shady Shores Rd south → Swisher Rd → N Corinth St. About 6 minutes, three or four stoplights, scenic. Skips I-35E entirely.

Highway route (faster mid-day): I-35E south one exit to 461 (Corinth Parkway), right on N Corinth St. About 5 minutes if the highway is moving.

Either way, parking is free in the lot directly in front of our entrance.

Lake-house crowd, welcome

If you have weekenders coming up from Dallas, this is an easy “stop for a beer and play a hole” anchor for the weekend. We can host private bay rentals for groups, and the bar/kitchen is open without a bay reservation — so you can bring along anyone who’d rather watch than swing.

Reserve a bay, or just walk in. Memberships include all-you-can-play access if you’re up at the lake often.
